The Walt Disney World Epcot International Food and Wine Festival 2011 in September, October and November is a popular event for wine and food lovers.

If you’re a wine connoisseur or budding chef, or even if you just enjoy good food and fine vintages, this is an event you won’t want to miss! From September 30, 2011 through November 13, 2011, Disney’s Epcot Theme Park will become one huge mecca for “foodies.”

Strolling through the park will be like taking a culinary adventure through a host of different countries, where you’ll have the chance to sample foods, wines, and beers from 25 countries and regions. You might want to bring a Kleenex or hanky and keep it handy – drooling is practically guaranteed as you smell the tantalizing aromas.

Disney’s Seas Aqua Tour at Epcot Center

The Disney Seas Aqua Tour is one of the few water tours at Epcot that are open to children, giving them the opportunity to interact with ocean life while swimming on the surface of a 5.7 million-gallon saltwater tank.

Guests must be at least eight years of age and bring their own bathing suits in order to enjoy this unique experience. The program includes a group photo, a T-shirt, equipment use and refreshments.

The main tank features more than 6,000 sea creatures representing over 60 species ranging from tropical fish and sharks to eagle rays and dolphins. Guests are told how shy or friendly each creature is and what to expect inside the tank.

The golf courses are simply amazing with their special effects. You can play mini-golf surrounded by big dark caverns, huge rushing waterfalls and real live alligators! Don’t worry, the gators can’t reach you!

This family fun park features not one but two 18 holes of Adventurous Miniature Golf, Party Pavilion, Food Concessions, Arcade and Game Room, all designed around an African / Jungle theme. From place to place there are signs presenting educational fun facts about the geographic region and the discoveries of two famous explorers- Stanley and Livingstone.

If you play golf, you have to check out one of Disney’s fantastic golf courses on your Orlando vacation. One of five golf courses located at the Walt Disney World Resort, Osprey Ridge Golf Course is defined by elegant wilderness and unique landscapes.

It’s a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary golf course and has received four and half stars from Golf Digest. This course is a challenge to golfers, starting at the first tee and continuing through the beautiful tropical landscape.

All Disney courses are great but this one gets you away from everything including civilization. With uncharacteristically rolling Florida terrain, Osprey Ridge is perfect not only for the resort guests but also for professionals.

Walt Disney World Sounds Like Summer Concert Series at Epcot

Need another reason to visit Walt Disney World this summer? Check out the Sounds Like Summer concert series at Epcot. The first concert will be performed on June 12, and the last one will be presented on July 30. All the live performances will be held at Epcot’s America Gardens Theatre, which is an outdoor venue located in World Showcase.

Three performances are held every night. The first begins at 5:45 p.m., and the second show starts at 7:00 p.m. The last concert of the evenings are scheduled for 8:15 p.m.

If your a fan of SeaWorld in Orlando, then I’m sure you know all about SeaWorld’s Discovery Cove. That’s the place next to the main park where you can swim with dolphins and get personal attention.

Well soon there will be a new section to Discovery Cove called Discovery Cove Grand Reef! It’s a big one million gallon salt water reef where guest will be able to swim and walk around with sharks, rays and many other saltwater marine life and fish.

Discovery Cove Grand Reef will have around 125 different kinds of fish and reef species, with sharks and rays as well as coral, urchins and all the other reef life you normally would expect.

CityWalk’s Red Coconut Club Nightclub at Universal Studios

The Red Coconut Club, located in Universal’s CityWalk, is a dance club that really knows how to get the exotic vibe flowing. Retro furnishings take you back to a sixties-looking disco inspired by the Cuban culture, while bands playing tunes make Baby Boomers feel comfortable.

They play the latest hits and everyone seems to have fun on the dance floor. Live entertainment and a tropical vibe make this one of the best clubs in Orlando.

The Red Coconut Club makes you feel special; once you get in here, you are treated like a royalty. Inside you will find unusually shaped seats, a colorful clubby decor, top notch sound system and bartenders at the three separate bar areas that are really good when it comes about mixing drinks.
