Located in the Animal Kingdom area, this lodge sits on a wildlife preserve and provides great views of the savanna animal habitats. The furnishings, décor, and architecture were modeled after a traditional African village. Two on-site restaurants serve cuisine from the Dark Continent.
Like most Walt Disney World resorts, this one has an awesome pool, and kids will have a blast on the 67-foot-long water slide. This Disney resort lodging choice is located in the Magic Kingdom area. If you’re looking for Walt Disney World resorts within walking distance to the Magic Kingdom, this one is for you. If you prefer, you can catch the monorail on the fourth floor.

If you prefer to be near the Magic Kingdom area, check out Disney’s Grand Floridian resort. This is another of the Walt Disney World resorts that’s waterfront – in this case, on Seven Seas Lagoon. The grounds include gardens, palm trees, six restaurants, and views of Cinderella Castle.
Guests will be entertained with beach play, a 24-hour arcade, golf, pirate cruises, a jogging trail, a fitness center, a luxurious spa, biking, tennis, and outdoor movies. Water rentals are also available, including jet skis and pontoon boats.
You can even charter an opulent yacht, perfect for special occasions. The yacht has three bedrooms, a galley, a dining area, air conditioning, and four TVs. This is a traditional national park-type lodge located in the Magic Kingdom area that embraces the spirit of the Native American culture.
