Many don’t know it, but you can enjoy a free trick or treating experience at Disney’s downtown marketplace! Called Disney Happy Haunting, it’s held on October 30th and 31st.
Disney Happy Haunting is a nice way to enjoy a free trick or treat event for your kids at a Disney location. Select Disney downtown marketplace shops and Disney’s west side shops participate in this event.
Your kids can dress up in their trick or treat costumes and get goodies from the shops. Most stores will have maps you can get that shows what locations offer free candy.
This year Disney Happy Haunting Halloween event is from 5:00 to 9:00 PM on both nights. They will have a cool pumpkin patch, magic shows, storytelling, comedy, live music and more for the kids.
You will see Disney and Halloween characters walking around, with special photo spots to get a picture with a Disney character at both the marketplace and over at west side.
Parking is normally hard to find, so get there early so you don’t spend an hour looking for a parking spot! Guest staying at any downtown Disney hotels can walk there.
