The Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is located near Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. This Disney World Resort will transport you back to the time of the great American West and the time of the Golden age of railroad travel.
Disney sure did a great job in making you feel like you are in a lodge somewhere else other than Florida. There is even a little boat dock where you can take a small antique boat to Fort Wilderness Campground or the Magic Kingdom.
A spouting geyser, a faux pine forest and wildflowers provide the “national park” backdrop at this Disney World Resort. Inspired by America’s National Parks, this wonderful deluxe rustic retreat is one of the most highly rated resorts available at Disney.
If you or anyone in your family likes the outdoors and log cabins, this is your place. It is quiet for those afternoon naps and has two great pools, the Silver Creek Springs and the Hidden Springs.
Here you can soak up the sun on Bay Lake Beach, rent a bicycle to use on the jogging trail and enjoy massage therapies. There’s a slide, a separate children’s pool and a separate hot tub. A dry sauna is also housed at this location.
The lobby of this Disney World Resort is breathtaking and the decor of the whole resort is such that it makes you feel at home right away. The restaurants are all fun, especially the Whispering Canyon- your kids will love all the action there. There are so many things to do that you will never get bored.
Territory Lounge offers appetizers and drinks, while Whispering Canyon Café features a family-style buffet and à la carte selections for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Beverages and snacks are served poolside at Trout Pass Pool Bar.
The regular rooms are equivalent to the other deluxe hotels on Disney property, such as the Contemporary and the Polynesian. Room amenities include cable/satellite television channels, wired high-speed Internet access, air conditioning and much more.

The grounds at Villas at Wilderness Lodge are simply spectacular, surrounded by a white sand beach and playground, pine trees and a geyser that goes off in the background. There are no words to describe the beautiful, relaxing lobby and its’ decor. This is a wonderful place for all ages!
