Disney’s Christmas day parade

One thing that has been going on for a long time is the annual Walt Disney World Christmas day parade. Now Disney has a Christmas parade each day at Walt Disney World in Orlando during the Holidays. But the Christmas day parade is much bigger and is shown live on national TV, at least most of it is. Actually they show parts of both the one in California and Orlando.

This year’s Disney’s Christmas day parade will feature Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers, as well as other stars. The Hannah Montana star will kick off the parade with her version of Santa Claus Is Coming To Town. Then the Jonas Brothers will sing Joyful Kings before American Idol David Cook sings Have yourself a merry little Christmas.

Wow, lots of singing star power huh! Even High School Musical’s Corbin Bleu will be there to sing a song that celebrates the Walt Disney World’s 25th Christmas day parade. It will be hosted by Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa, no big surprise there! It will last around 2 hours and have over 600 entertainers from both the Orlando and California Disney parks.

I’ve been to one Walt Disney World Christmas day parade in person, but don’t plan on it again. The crowds are horrible; it takes hours just to get back on the main roads home. I have seen a lot of the regular Disney Christmas parades they have each day in the parks though. They are very nice, especially the main one at night.

All the floats are lit up and look spectacular. Seeing Cinderellas carriage all sparkling and glowing is a sight to see, as all the others are. If you get to be at Walt Disney World during Christmas holidays, make sure you see the nightly Christmas parade, it’s worth the long lines and waiting. Make sure to take plenty of pictures!
