The ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort is an absolute must for sports enthusiasts. It covers a full 220 acres and hosts almost 300 sports-related events annually, including both professional and amateur athletes. In all, more than sixty sports are represented in nine different locations within the complex.

The nine venues at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex include the Jostens Center, with volleyball courts, basketball courts, inline hockey rinks, locker rooms, and wrestling competitions.

Champion Stadium is the home for the Atlanta Braves’ spring training, and when the team leaves, amateur athletes take their place. The third venue is the HP Field House, an indoor facility with more than 70,000 square feet, 5,000 seats, training areas, and great playing surfaces.

The HESS Sports Fields feature seven grassy fields and four convertible fields that can be used for baseball, softball, football, lacrosse, field hockey, and soccer.

The Baseball Quadraplex is all about baseball, with four pro-sized playing fields, a practice infield, ten bullpens, pitching machines, and battling tunnels. The Softball Diamondplex has a central tower and six fields that can be used for slowpitch softball, fastpitch softball, and youth baseball games.

Professional and amateur tennis players come from all over to compete at the Tennis Complex. This area includes ten clay tennis courts and a stadium that seats 1,000 spectators. Another venue in the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex is the Cross Country Course.

The Track and Field Complex is the site for numerous state, national, and international competitions and is also used for training purposes. It includes a javelin runway, nine 48-inch lanes, two pole-vault landing zones, two high-jump pits, two discus rings, double straightaways, three shot-put rings, and two horizontal jump runways.
