Dream-Along with Mickey can be enjoyed at Fantasyland’s Castle Stage in the Disney Magic Kingdom park. This is an amazing musical show that everyone will enjoy, regardless of age.
The outdoor event features favorite characters such as Cinderella, Snow White, Prince Charming, Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Aurora, Donald Duck, Goofy, Minnie, and of course, Mickey.
There’s also a troupe of professional dancers performing with the characters. And, of course, all this is done with the splendor of the castle in the background.
The theme of the show is all about making dreams come true. Minnie dreams of being a princess, and the stage is filled with dancing princesses – Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora.
Goofy and Donald dream of being pirates, and the notorious Captain Hook and a band of buccaneers appear on stage, singing a rousing pirate tune as some mild sword fighting is performed.
Just when everything is going well, the evil Maleficent shows up in a cloud of smoke to spoil the fun. Audience members have to pitch in with a group chant to get rid of her.
The show includes great music, singing, dancing, elaborate costumes, mild pyro displays, fast-paced action, and audience participation. The music is uplifting, and the message is inspiring. Mickey encourages children to believe in themselves, in their family, and in their friends.
The entire show can be seen in just twenty minutes, and it’s definitely worth your time. You’ll find yourself clapping along in time with the livelier songs, and you’ll leave with a great outlook.
