Disney’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2012

Mickey's very merry christmas party 2012

Christmas is the time of the year when the Magic Kingdom becomes even more magical. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2012 is a special event that’s not to be missed. With snowmen, elves, and wooden soldiers, and gingerbread men, you will be filled with holiday joy as they accompany Mickey.

This after-hours event has several features that may appeal to your group, including Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Castle Dream Lights on Cinderella Castle, magical snow fall, cookies and hot cocoa, character dance parties, and spectacular fireworks.

Santa meets Mickey at this annual event. With millions of twinkling lights and live entertainment, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party delivers a holiday wonderland of epic proportions.

Guests can enjoy special stage shows, sweet holiday treats, parades, nightly performances, and unlimited use of popular Magic Kingdom attractions.

Each night Disney characters will dress up in holiday costumes for meet-and-greets throughout the park. Town Square features giant toy soldiers, offering children the chance to meet and greet with Santa Claus in a picture-perfect setting.

Despite the warm weather in Florida, it still snows throughout the night at the Magic Kingdom, with thousands of twinkling lights. There are three main shows for grownups and children alike, including the Holiday Wishes firework show, Celebrate The Seasons in front of the Cinderella Castle, and Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas Parade.

A stage is set up in front of Cinderella Castle for holiday shows. The party runs on selected dates from 7 PM until midnight at Magic Kingdom. There are several spots where families can pose for a commemorative photo.

You will even have your picture sent at home a few weeks later! You’ll also see lots of your favorite characters, including Minnie, Mickey, Cinderella, Snow White, Phineas and Ferb, and Duffy the Disney Bear. Some of the best attractions in the park will remain open during the party.

This is a special event, so you do need to buy separate tickets to see it, normal theme park tickets do not cover this. The select nights are from Nov. 9th to Dec. 21st. Check out Disney’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2012 this year! :)
