I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving yesterday. I have been really running behind on my site here as I have so much going on. But late than never, right? So I wanted to fill you in on Disney’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2013!
It has already been going on since Nov. 8th on select nights. For those who don’t know, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a special holiday event they hold at Disney’s Magic Kingdom each year.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party takes place from 7:00 PM to midnight, on November 8, 11, 14, 15, 17, 21 and 22; and December 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19 and 20, 2013.
Since it’s a special event you DO have to buy a special ticket for it; you can’t use your normal theme park pass or ticket to see it. People in the Magic Kingdom theme park have to leave by 7 PM.
So what do you get if you go to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party? Well for one the lines at all the rides will be shorter since only the folks who bought a special ticket will be there. All normal rides will be open.
You get to see the Magic Kingdom all decked out with Holiday lights and decorations. If you have never been to Disney’s Magic Kingdom during the holidays you don’t know what your missing. The holiday lights transform the park into something beautiful.
There will be the Castle Dream Lights on Cinderella Castle, turning it into a glowing ice castle with changing colors. Then you can see Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade, a very cool Christmas parade you can’t see anywhere else.
Next is the new Celebrate the Magic show, as they project Disney scenes and characters onto Cinderellas castle, complete with music. It’s very interesting and amazing to see, you really need to check it out.
After that comes Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season fireworks show. This is an amazing Disney holiday fireworks display you can’t see at any other time of the year.
Plus you get Meet-and-greet opportunities throughout Magic Kingdom park with some of your favorite Disney Characters, Complimentary cookies and hot cocoa plus a magical snowfall on Main Street, U.S.A.
It’s a wonderful Disney holiday spectacle that you and your kids will always remember. So if you can check out Disney’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2013 this year and have a fantastic time!
