The Disney Seas Aqua Tour is one of the few water tours at Epcot that are open to children, giving them the opportunity to interact with ocean life while swimming on the surface of a 5.7 million-gallon saltwater tank.
Guests must be at least eight years of age and bring their own bathing suits in order to enjoy this unique experience. The program includes a group photo, a T-shirt, equipment use and refreshments.
The main tank features more than 6,000 sea creatures representing over 60 species ranging from tropical fish and sharks to eagle rays and dolphins. Guests are told how shy or friendly each creature is and what to expect inside the tank.
However, they are not allowed to touch the sea life. You can also watch a video about the pavilion’s creatures, and then receive further instructions. The staff will provide you with a snorkel system and a flotation vest.
