Harry Potter toys at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Harry Potter toys and collectibles

Everyone knows by now that the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park at Universal Studios has been a great success. One of the most popular items there are the Harry Potter toys and Harry Potter collectibles.

There are around a dozen or so shops inside Hogsmeade village where Harry Potter land is. At last count Universal Studios had over 600 Harry Potter toys and collectibles licensed and ready to sell there.

Since every shop has had an average of a half hour wait just to get inside them I’d say they are selling a lot of Harry Potter toys and collectibles! Not all the shops have Harry Potter toys however.

Some, like Honeydukes, sell candy like the type you saw in the Harry Potter movies. You can buy chocolate frogs and those strange tasting jelly beans in there, among lots of other candy.

But by far the most common items you can buy are Harry Potter toys and collectibles. You can find Harry Potter books, Harry Potter figurines, Harry Potter posters, Harry Potter shirts and much more.

Of course the most popular Harry Potter toys and collectibles by far is the Harry Potter wands, located in Ollivander’s magic wand shop. They restock them all day long and have been running out of them often.

The Harry Potter toys you can get inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter are a mix of ones you can purchase outside the park and some you can only find inside Harry Potter land.

Lots of them are more like Harry Potter collectibles than toys. Like the posters, statues, character magic wands, Harry Potter pictures and so on. Universal Studios also just opened up an online store where you can buy Harry Potter merchandise found only in Harry Potter land.

Of course you can find hundreds of Harry Potter toys and games in many normal toy stores, Amazon and so on. But getting a Harry Potter toy or collectible found only inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park makes it more special for a gift.

After Labor Day weekend the crowds will drop a lot at Universal Studios. Once it does I’ll take more pictures and videos of all the Harry Potter toys, magic wands and collectibles inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It’s just too crowded right now!

Which reminds me; if your planning to go to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter on Labor Day weekend to grab some Harry Potter toys and collectibles, be prepared for long lines.

It will be packed at all the theme parks over that weekend, especially Harry Potter land. For some it will be the last chance they have this year to see The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

It’s also the last chance they have to get exclusive Harry Potter toys and collectibles only found there. I should make a shipping page in my site here where I get items people want from there!

So if you make it into The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, make sure you check out the over more than 600 Harry Potter toys and collectibles you can only find there, or at the Universal online store. Wear comfortable shoes! :)

BTW I just made my own Harry Potter toys page, or at least one so far. This one has Harry Potter action figures and mini statues. I’ll be making other pages too, like Harry Potter wands, clothes, games and so on.

So check out my Harry Potter action figures here, and check back for more Harry Potter toys pages to come, just in time for the Holidays!

  1. Use the posters to make their room in the spirit of Hogwarts

  2. Hmmmm, a bit spammy ya think John? But I’ll let it go this time. 😉

  3. Hi, I was wondering, in looking at the picture above, can you, or rather any person really buy those type of collectable items shown in that case if you’re willing to pay the money? I would love to know.Thank you.

  4. Hi there Tori, thanks for asking. It depends on what picture above your referring too. If you mean the last one above, with the brass objects, the answer is no. Those are just display items.

However you can buy one of those boxes of chocolate frogs, or some of that cotton candy you see in the other pictures.

There are a lot of windows you pass inside Hogsmeade village that have cool looking items in the windows on display. Most of them you can’t actually buy, they are for display only. But the items in the windows of shops you actually can go into you can buy, yes. :)
