Holidays Around The World, Candlelight Processional at Disney’s Epcot

Disney's holidays around the world

The Candlelight Processional at Disney’s Epcot has been a Disney World Resort tradition since 1958. Held every year at Epcot, this event is not to be missed. Rich in holiday splendor, The Candlelight Processional is a narration of the Christmas story featuring an orchestra performing traditional carols.

This year the Christmas story will be narrated by Whoopi Goldberg, Geena Davis, Amy Grant, Olivia Newton John, Andy Garcia, Neil Patrick Harris, Gary Sinise and other celebrities, full list below.

This dramatic event features celebrity narrators, joyful sounds of student performers, and the glimmering lights pf Epcot. The generic “Believe in the magic of the holidays” or “Come celebrate the holidays” are the typical Disney themes presented to the public.

The sounds, the sights, the yummy smells – there are so many great things to see! This annual event takes place from the end of November through the end of December. Guests can attend up to three shows every evening.

The trumpeters on the top of the railroad building are one of the main attractions of the events. Tickets are on a first-come, first-serve basis, so make sure you arrive early. See Holidays Around The World, Candlelight Processional at Disney’s Epcot 2012 this year!
