For those of you who love the Jimmy Neutron’s Nicktoon blast ride at Universal Studios, I have some sad news for you. It seems as though Universal will be closing the ride this year.
Universal Studios has announced that on April 1st, 2011 they will be closing the Jimmy Neutron’s Nicktoon blast ride at Universal Studios Florida theme park.
They will then start to build what they call an “all-new experience based on an amazing concept” at the location. They don’t say what the new ride or attraction will be, other than it’s a natural fit for Universal Orlando.
Interestingly they say that for limited periods the ride will re-open in the spring and summer, before closing permanently on August 18th. So if your a fan of Jimmy Neutron’s Nicktoon blast ride you may want to get over there soon and ride it.
Universal Studios is doing a lot of new things these days so it’s not really a surprise. Jimmy Neutron is not as popular as he use to be in the cartoon network.
What they will replace it with is anyone’s guess. But I’m sure it will be good. So again, the Jimmy Neutron’s Nicktoon blast ride at Universal Studios will be closing April 1st.
