Well once again it’s almost time for Octoberfest in Orlando 2010! Since the Orlando area is a big place there is no single event or place that defines Octoberfest. Many different towns in the Orlando area will have their own version of Octoberfest.
Also the many bars and nightclubs in the Orlando area will have Octoberfest nights and specials throughout the month of October. But there are a few Octoberfest events that happen every year and stand out more than others.
So below is a little list of the most popular Orlando Octoberfest events for 2010 that will be going on. I’ve put a link to most of them, but some you’ll just have to call or search for!
Winter Park Autumn Arts Festival
October 9th : 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
October 10th : 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
This is a fancy art festival in downtown Winter Park. It’s very popular and attracts over 40,000 visitors each year. See great paintings, sculptures, hand made jewelry and much more. It’s a bit on the ritzy side but welcomed to all. Call 407-644-8281.
Celebration Oktoberfest
October 8th : 5:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.
October 9th : 5:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Disney’s Celebration Town Center holds their own Octoberfest event each year. Octoberfest 2010 will have hay rides, leaf dropping and live music by Dan Witucki & Heimatland Musikanten Oct. 8 and Kattyshack Oct. 9.

Orlando Brewing
Sept. 25th to end of Oct.
What better place to celebrate Octoberfest in Orlando than at a beer brewery! All through Octoberfest the Orlando Brewing company will have special events, beer tastings, live music and more. 407-872-1117
Daytona Beach Biketoberfest
October 14-17th
Biketoberfest 2010 in Daytona Beach is always a blast for bikers. There will be dozens of events, including all the vendors on Main Street selling everything you can think of.
This year there will be hundreds of thousands of bikers at Biketoberfest, a very cool site to see. Check out the link above for full information.
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

Mickey’s not so scary Halloween party is a favorite event that comes during Octoberfest time. Great fun for the little ones without being very scary. Check link above for full details.
SeaWorld Spooktacular Halloween Party
October 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 29, 30 and 31 beginning at noon each day.
SeaWorld’s own Halloween party for kids, this is during the day at normal park hours. It’s included with your park ticket, so if you go on these days you get something extra! Click link above for more info.
Halloween Horror Nights
Sept. 24, 25, 30 Oct. 1-3, 7-10, 14-17, 20-24, 27-31
The grand daddy of all Halloween parties that will scare you silly! Universal Studios Halloween Horror nights celebrates their 20th year this year and is having all new haunted houses and scare zones.
I don’t recommend this for little kids as it’s very bloody, scary and mature. But if you want a good scare you can’t beat this! Click link above for full details.
So there you have some of the most popular Octoberfest events going on around Orlando 2010. Like I said there are dozens of smaller Octoberfest events going on at the clubs, parks and bars.
