One thing most never think about when on an Orlando vacation is to visit the Orlando science center. It’s a fun place to visit and very large with lots of things for both kids and adults to do. The Orlando Science Center features ten themed exhibit halls where visitors can explore the solar system, the modern technology, the human body and other similar topics of interest.
Be prepared to admire birds and alligators welcoming visitors, or to watch incredible laser-light displays taking place on the world’s largest eight story giant movie screen Imax theater. With so many surprises your adventure will never end. This impressive facility offers family oriented activities. Your kids will enjoy digging dinosaur bones, racing cars, standing in a tornado, or flying a plane.
Almost all of the interactive displays are operational, something that can not be said for most science museums. A great exhibit is BodyWorks where you can walk through a human body. Orlando Science Center also provides a nature walk on the bottom level where you can see an aquarium filled with exotic fish, baby gators, snakes, insects and many other animals. Or you can visit the planetarium, try out flight simulators and even pick oranges.
All in all, the Orlando Science Center is a great place for the whole family. There is also a spacious cafeteria so you can plan a visit around lunchtime and then spend the rest of the day exploring displays that will fascinate your mind. A visit to the Orlando Science Center is worth every penny of the very reasonable admission price. This place has something for everyone, including the littlest learners. Make sure you stop by next time when you visit Orlando.
