Holiday greetings from Orlando Inside!

Well today is the 25th, so I wanted to say Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone! :) I hope those that celebrate today have a good time with your friends and family.

I will be keeping it simple myself. All my family lives up north in Vermont. So I will just go over to a friend’s house, exchange a few gifts, then relax the rest of the day, maybe even do a little work!

Anything Disney and all the theme parks and Orlando attractions will be very, very busy today. Christmas day is a very popular day to spend at a Disney park, the Magic Kingdom being the most popular of all.

Happy Thanksgiving day from Orlando Inside!

Once again it’s time for Thanksgiving day in the USA! Time to count your blessings and be thankful for whatever you have. This year has been hard on lots of folks, so it will be a bit harder to find things to be thankful for.

But we here in the United States still have it much better than lots of the other world, even poor folks. One of my favorite saying is “everything is relative”.

Which means we all tend to see things relative to where we are, who we are and what has happened in our lives. Because of that we often see our good luck or bad luck only in relation to how our life is right now.

Merry Christmas from Orlando Inside!

Merry Christmas

Every time I look at this picture I get a craving for candy canes! 😉 Today is Christmas day, so I just wanted to say I hope everyone has a great time today and you get everything you wanted.

It’s been a pretty good year for me, I can’t complain. I made several more websites and make a nice living working from home with them. If not for that I would likely be one of the unemployed right now.

I’m not doing much today, as my family is all up in Vermont. Maybe I’ll go see some friends of mine, or even go out to the theme parks and see how crowded it is!

I appreciate my readers and want to say thanks for taking the time to read my little site here. I hope you’ve gotten some information out of it and that it helped in some way.

Happy New Year everyone! It’s almost 2010 as I write this. I’m sure most people will be glad to see 2009 go and look forward to a better year. For many 2010 HAS to be better than the one that just passed! Jobs are down, homes were lost, savings wiped out. But there’s always a new year to look forward to, a new start.

My year was actually not that bad. I work full time at home on about a dozen websites, including this one. So I have been lucky to avoid the lay offs and troubles. I live alone and rent, so I did not have to worry about losing my house. I’ve been building up my websites and hope to have a great year in 2010.

I’m not sure if things are getting better or worst right now with the world economy. I guess we will all know soon. I’m being careful with my money and not buying much of anything. I pay cash for everything and don’t even own a credit card.

I’m not going to do much for New Years, probably stay home and watch something on the net. Here in Florida you can buy fireworks so there will be lots of noise at midnight no matter where you are here! If you go out please drive safe and be careful. Happy New Year’s everyone, from me at Orlando Inside! :)
