My latest Vermont vacation pictures!

Vermont vacation pictures

A few days ago I got back from a week vacation to my home state of Vermont. It rained every day, so basically it was a normal week in Vermont. 😀 It was nice to get some cooler weather however and I had a good time.

Most of my visit was just visiting family and friends, doing things for my mom and so on. I did get up to the mountains once and did a little driving around to see my old places I use to visit.

I rented a car this time which was nice but cost more. I also took a different airline; as of now Allegiant Air is the only airline that offers non-stop flights from central Florida to Burlington, Vermont.

Hot air balloon show picture gallery of my vacation

Hot air balloon show

About a month ago I took a trip up to Vermont, something I do twice a year. It’s where I’m from so I go up to see Mom, family and friends. This time I lucked out and got there just as Stowe, Vermont was having a hot air balloon festival.

I had never been to one but always wanted to see one. So I took the opportunity to go to this one. They had 25 balloons so it was a good show. You could stand right next to them as they blew up the balloons and took off.

I would have rode on one but it cost $275.00, a bit more than I wanted to spend for a 30 minute ride. Anyways it was really cool to see them take off and I took a lot of pictures.

I also went hiking and took a gondola car up a mountain. I took pictures of all that too and made a big picture gallery for you to enjoy. Because who doesn’t love watching people’s vacation pictures! 😀

Really though, you’ll enjoy these if you like hot air balloons and outdoorsy shots. So start the slide show below and check it out. :)

To use this picture gallery, click on the first picture and the picture show will start. Click the arrow in the right bottom corner to go to the next picture. Click inside the picture at any time to exit the picture gallery. Hope you enjoy these pictures from my vacation!

I’m back from my Vermont vacation!

Vermont vacation

I guess I never told anyone, but I went up to my home state of Vermont recently for a vacation of my own! The fall foliage was early this year and pretty good with lots of colors.

When I came back, I brought back my mom and sister so they can have their own little vacation. It’s my mom’s first time in Florida so I have lots to show her.

We will do Disney’s Magic Kingdom, SeaWorld, Universal Studios and lots of smaller attractions. We are going to take an airboat ride as my sister wants to do that.

So it’s been a very busy few weeks the past few weeks. Expensive too! But it’s nice to finally have my mom and sister down here at the same time so we can do that “family thing”.

Anyways I’ll try to make a picture gallery of the Vermont fall foliage pictures I took and put them on here soon. If you’ve never been to Vermont in the fall I highly suggest you do, just dress warm! :)

Since I’m from the state of Vermont that is where I’m going. My mom and family is up there so I’ll do the whole catching up on things up there. It will be cooler weather there and not as humid.

I got a non stop flight from Orlando International airport to Burlington Vermont. Only takes about 3 hours and it’s on Jet Blue. Got a deal on the price, only $265.00 round trip (of course)!

Some memorable Tips for Your Orlando Disney Vacation

Disney holiday vacations

A trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, can be an unforgettable experience for any family. This is the original Disney World and while most will argue that it is also the best, there are many ways in which you can make your trip all the more memorable.

Plan your rides
For many families, the best part of their whole Disney World experience is the great choice of theme parks and rides on offer, but queuing to get onto to them is an unavoidable part of this trip. Their immense popularity means that you may have to wait some time, but naturally, your patience will undoubtedly be rewarded.

In order to avoid any kind of disappointment, find a schedule of rides before you travel and decide between yourselves which are the ones that you have to experience at all costs. You should be able to take in all that you want, but planning ahead is a necessary task.

Spring, best time for a Florida vacation!

Spring is one of the best times for a Florida vacation!

Spring is here in Orlando, Florida, and it’s one of the best times of the year to take that dream vacation! As I’ve always said, fall and spring are the two best times to take an Orlando, Florida vacation.

In two months it will be summer. Summer is the busiest time of the year here in the Disney area. That means more crowds, higher prices for everything and very hot weather with afternoon thunderstorms!

In the fall and spring months the weather is cooler, yet still warm. It’s not as humid as summer, and it hardly rains at all. The crowds are light, which means the price of everything is low as places try to get customers.

Well everyone, when you live in Orlando, you go somewhere else on vacation! Since I’m from Vermont I’m going up for a visit in a couple of weeks. So I thought I’d share some travel tips with you.

I’m taking a non stop flight up and back, I hate stop overs. I bought my tickets online, and the day before I’ll check in online at home as well. Then I just print out my tickets at home.

I’m taking only two carry ons. One will be my laptop case, which will have my laptop and any small electronics, like my phone, flash cards and so on. The other will be a duffel bag just under the size restriction for carry ons.
