Modeled after the old-fashioned seashore hotels of Nantucket Island and Martha’s Vineyard, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is less than a mile from the Epcot World Showcase entrance and one mile from Disney’s Hollywood Studios by ferryboat. Restaurants and entertainment at the Boardwalk are also conveniently close by.
The centerpiece of Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is Stormalong Bay, a large pool area featuring a shipwreck-themed water slide, water currents, sandy bottom, a small kids’ water slide and a quiet pool. Disney’s Yacht Club Resort shares its recreational facilities with the adjacent property, Disney’s Beach Club Resort.
There is a fully-equipped health and fitness center free of charge for resort guests, a lake-side white sand beach on Crescent Lake, arcade room, a 24-hour playground for kids and Fishing Excursions at the marina.
