Once again it’s time for another Walt Disney World ride review! Today it’s The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh ride inside Disney’s Magic Kingdom.
Guests of all ages can enjoy this attraction, but the ride is especially geared toward younger children. Four guests at a time ride in Pooh’s hunny pot for a trip through the pages of Winnie the Pooh’s most popular adventures.
You’ll get to see the whole gang from Winnie the Pooh – Owl, Eeyore, Kanga, Roo, Tigger, Rabbit, and Gopher.
Visitors to Disney World get in the “Pooh mood” as soon as they near the entrance to this attraction. An old gnarled tree and a tottering stack of whimsical honey pots set the scene.
Guests seat themselves in the “rolling honey pots” and head to the Hundred Acre Wood on a blustery day. Guests pass by giant storybook pages, some of which are animated.
An excited Tigger pops up here and there, and he tells his bear-pal all about Woozles and Heffalumps. As Pooh falls asleep, he begins to dream and float along in the dark. The dreamscape is filled with fantastical characters and objects, but none are very scary or threatening.
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh ride vehicles return to the Hundred Acre Wood, which is experiencing a storm, complete with rain and lightning. Like the dreamscape, the storm is not so intense as to frighten small children.
At the end of the trek, a happy, smiling Pooh can be seen with honey covering his face. As guests exit the ride, the smell of honey fills the air.
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh ride is located in the Fantasyland section of Disney’s Magic Kingdom and is appropriate for all Pooh fans. Flash photography isn’t allowed, and guests will have to transfer from their scooters.
So if your a Winnie the Pooh fan or have kids who are, make sure you ride The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh ride. It’s fun for all ages and a great family ride!
