The Simpsons ride at Universal Studios review

Universal Studios the Simpsons ride review

The Simpsons ride at Universal Studios is one of the most popular rides there. Here’s a quick The Simpsons ride review at Universal Studios so you can decide if it’s a ride you want to go on.

This six-minute ride is based on the popular television series, The Simpsons. To enjoy this zany ride, you’ll have to walk through a giant Krusty the Clown’s mouth to get to the circus pavilion and Krustyland, a cheap theme park created by the clown. After seeing some “live footage” of the Simpson family on an outing at Krustyland, guests are taken to the ride.

Shortly after entering the ride vehicle, Sideshow Bob, recently escaped from prison, takes over the park and the car goes on a wild ride complete with crashes, thrilling drops, broken tracks, all sorts of special effects, and huge versions of the Simpson characters.

An 80-foot IMAX dome screen and Dolby surround sound make the characters and action on the screen pretty amazing. Another reason for this awesome virtual reality is due to the special High Definition that’s double the quality you’d find in a traditional digital cinematic production.

On one part, you’ll believe that you’re actually on a rickety wooden roller coaster. The voices of 24 original Simpson characters are used on the Simpsons Ride, and while you’re waiting for your turn and while you’re riding, you’ll be entertained by classic Simpson humor. This makes the wait time much more enjoyable.

The Simpsons Ride at Universal Studios in Orlando is for guests who are 40 inches tall or taller. If you have a heart condition, you’ll need to avoid this one.

Also, if you suffer from claustrophobia or get motion sickness easily, this probably isn’t an attraction that you’ll enjoy. Otherwise, this attraction offers fun, laughs, and thrills for just about everyone!
