Very soon I will make a post outlining this years 2012 Universal Studios Halloween Horror nights events. But for now let me just announce that you can already buy tickets for this years horror-fest.
I must say however that the pricing structure seems rather complex. They must make a hell of a lot off this event to put so many different prices and nights together.
Basically they have an all around general admission ticket for the horror nights for $88.99. Then they have tickets good for both a full day in the park plus the nighttime horror nights events.
These vary by dates and are from $36.99 to $66.99. Next they have what they call their frequent fear tickets, which are good for several different nights. These also vary by what nights you choose, from $69.99 up to $96.99.
These are the best value IF you actually go to Halloween Horror nights 3 and more times. But I can’t see why anyone except diehard horror fans wanting to go more than one night.
Let’s see,,,,, then we have Florida resident tickets, one night cost from $41.99 to $66.99 depending on what nights you go. Plus resident frequent fear tickets, three different cost there also.
Let’s not forget our Annual pass holders, of which I am one! You get eight different ways and prices depending on the nights you choose and if you get the frequent fear package. Damn, I’m already scared away!
This year’s Halloween Horror nights dates will be:
Sept. 21, 22, 27, 28, 29, 30
Oct. 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 & 31
Frankly I don’t have fun anymore at this event. It’s basically 7 hours of standing in lines and 20 minutes of rushing through haunted houses.
But if your a big fan of Halloween then this is your thing. For full details of all of the prices and to get tickets go to the Universal Studios website and click the Halloween Horror nights link.
