Universal Studios Mardi Gras parade 2013

Universal Studios Mardi Gras 2013

Very soon it will be time for Universal Studios Mardi Gras parade 2013! This year you can celebrate Mardi Gras at Universal Studios with performances by Miami rapper Pitbull, pop star Demi Lovato, Sean Kingston, Lifehouse and other great artists!

This annual event will take place on select nights from February 9 to April 20. Guests can enjoy colorful street performances, dazzling parades, live concerts, and delicious food.

Are you ready to party? Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras celebration brings 14 of music’s biggest names live in concert on the stage! The whole family will enjoy this fun filled event! You can dance along with dozens of street performers, watch the spectacular parade, and eat authentic Cajun food.

Guests can attend live concerts by nationally and internationally recognized artists such as Trey Songz, Boys Like Girls, Pat Benetar & Neil Giraldo, Austin Mahone, Matchbox Twenty, Phillip Phillips, and Steve Miller Band.

Florida is transformed into a family friendly version of Mardi Gras. Make sure you don’t miss this year’s floats like the Riverboat, Gator, and King. Take your children and watch the Colorful Cultures around the World, the Music of New Orleans, and the Elegance of India.

Head over to Universal Studios’ French Quarter Courtyard and enjoy the vibrant sounds of authentic New Orleans bands before the concert starts. Here you can experience delicious Cajun food, including beignets, gumbo, shrimps, and jambalaya.

Mardi Gras at Universal Studios is a wonderful event for people of all ages. There is even a special parade viewing area just for children, which opens an hour before the parade starts (Little Jester’s Parade Viewing Area).

If you want to attend the concerts that will take place at Universal Studios and be close to the stage, make sure you get there at least two hours before the concert starts. After listening to some great music, continue the party at CityWalk!

Mardi Gras at Universal Studios is included with a normal park ticket, you do NOT have to pay extra for it. Mardi Gras takes place in the Universal Studios Florida park, not Islands of Adventure. See you there! :)
