Need another reason to visit Walt Disney World this summer? Check out the Sounds Like Summer concert series at Epcot. The first concert will be performed on June 12, and the last one will be presented on July 30. All the live performances will be held at Epcot’s America Gardens Theatre, which is an outdoor venue located in World Showcase.
Three performances are held every night. The first begins at 5:45 p.m., and the second show starts at 7:00 p.m. The last concert of the evenings are scheduled for 8:15 p.m.
On the evening of Independence Day, there’ll be four concerts. Show times for July 4 are 5:15, 6:30, 7:45, and 9:00 p.m.
Each week of the concert series focuses on a different theme. The first week, June 12-18, is all about the Eagles: “Hotel California – A Salute to the Eagles.”
“Stayin’ Alive – A Tribute to the Bee Gees” begins June 19 and runs through June 25.
On June 26, the focus shifts to the riveting tunes of Bon Jovi, with “Slippery When Wet – The Ultimate Bon Jovi Tribute.” It runs through July 2.
“Little Queen – The Music of Heart” will be showcased from July 3 – July 9.
If you’re a Steve Perry and Journey fan, you’ll want to schedule your Epcot visit during the week of July 10 – 16 for “Frontiers – A Tribute to Journey.”
Starting on July 17, you can groove to the raw sounds of Karin Lawson as she pays tribute to Janet Jackson. This concert series continues through July 23.
The finale week of sounds Like Summer Concert Series features “2U – A Tribute to U2.”
