Blue Horizons show at SeaWorld

Blue Horizons at SeaWorld is a show the likes of which you’ve never seen before. Featured at Orlando’s SeaWorld, the show is an extravaganza that combines animal performances, divers, birds, aerialists, and aspects of a Broadway production.

The set of Blue Horizons was designed by Stanley Meyer, famous for his work on Beauty and the Beast Broadway musical. Along with designing the set, Meyer was also used as a consultant for Blue Horizons.

Meyer’s set includes a forty-feet-tall framework over the pool, where human performers balance, dive, and float on clouds. They also make some heart-stopping plunges with bungee cords, much to the delight of audiences.

Scores of iridescent bubbles and a gigantic sun add to the atmosphere of the Blue Horizons show at SeaWorld. In addition to Meyer, another talented Broadway expert, Tracy Christensen, was called in to help.

Famous for her costume design work on famous Broadway shows like Beauty and the Beast, Shrek, Fiddler on the Roof, and The Little Mermaid, Christensen pulled out all the stops for Blue Horizons costumes.

Sea mammals used in the show are among SeaWorld’s favorites – dolphins and false killer whales, throughout the show, it seems that the large creatures are performing without any guidance from their animal trainers.

During the show, brilliantly plumed birds take wing over the audience, too. These include Andean condors, sun conures, and blue and gold macaws.

With Blue Horizons, the action is everywhere – in the air, on the water, and under the water. You’ll be totally mesmerized as you allow your imagination to take flight! This is a wonderful experience for all ages and one that will never be forgotten.

So if you go to SeaWorld Orlando, make sure you take in the Blue Horizons show at SeaWorld, you’ll have a great time and it’s fun for all ages!
