It’s been a long time coming, but Disney’s Fantasy cruise ship maiden voyage will finally be this weekend, March 30th! That’s not to say that it has just been sitting at dock all this time.
Disney’s newest cruise ship was christening in New York City on March 1. Since that time it has been undergoing many practice runs with Disney families and travel-industry associates.
making sure everything works on a giant cruise ship like this takes a lot of time and work. Disney’s Fantasy cruise ship is much like it’s sister ship, the Disney Dream.
They each hold 4,000 passengers with similar floor plans and both are based out of the Port Canaveral port in Florida. But they have different themes and decor as well as different shows and acts.
The newest Disney ship is booking very well with sold out cruises to different ports. I wish I could say I was one of them but Disney cruises are a bit out of my price range.
They are perfect for families with small kids of course, as you would expect with anything Disney. The ship features many unique kid friendly activities, events and shows.
The pools are a blast with some very fun sliding tubes and other water games to enjoy. As well as many high tech game arcades and learning shops that are made to be fun while educational.
So if your one of the lucky ones on Disney’s Fantasy cruise ship maiden voyage this weekend, have lots of fun and let us know how your trip went!
