Walt Disney World hotel

One of the newest and best Walt Disney World hotel spots is the Disney’s BoardWalk Inn resort. It includes guest rooms and villas; the guest rooms are what I am talking about today in this Walt Disney World hotel review.

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn resort is a Disney Deluxe Resort designed to provide everything you ever wanted from a hotel. The sherbet-colored facades, striped awnings, turrets and whimsical elephant fountains make this Walt Disney World hotel unique.

Disney’s BoardWalk inn resort is a destination all to itself and features 372 guest rooms, 20,000 square feet of meeting space, several restaurants and many recreational activities. It’s part of Disney’s Boardwalk area, a full entertainment and shopping location itself.

Disney’s newest value hotel, the Pop Century Resort, is a whimsical time capsule of 20th-century pop culture. The resort is divided into decades from the 1950s through the 1990s. The buildings are designed as time capsules of the way Americans used to live during these five decades.

Disney’s Pop Century Resort features 2,880 rooms decorated with giant icons including bowling pins, jukeboxes, characters from The Jungle Book and other Disney stories, yo-yos, eight-track tapes and much more. There are lots of interesting things to look at while walking around the grounds.

The resort has three heated pools with themes, a smaller bowling pin-shaped Bowling Pool, a lower-shaped Hippy Dippy Pool and the ’80s computer-themed pool. There is also an unheated pool for children, a playground with a Goofy water feature and an arcade. If you love shopping, feel free to visit Everything Pop shop inside the Classic Hall building to pick up a few souvenirs. Those who feel the need to exercise can walk or jog around Disney’s Pop Century Resort on a 1.38-mile trail.

That way, she said, they would be right there at Disney and be able to walk to all the Disney parks! Oh my, I sure hope she sees this post, because if she really goes thinking that, she’s going to be in for a big surprise.

So, just how big is Walt Disney World? Well first lets make sure your talking about Walt Disney World, not Disneyland. Disneyland is the one in California, Walt Disney World is the one in Orlando, Florida. Disneyland is much smaller than Walt Disney World, MUCH smaller! Also when you say Walt Disney World, your talking about the whole complex, not just one of the parks. [Read more…]
