Modeled after the old-fashioned seashore hotels of Nantucket Island and Martha’s Vineyard, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is less than a mile from the Epcot World Showcase entrance and one mile from Disney’s Hollywood Studios by ferryboat. Restaurants and entertainment at the Boardwalk are also conveniently close by.

The centerpiece of Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is Stormalong Bay, a large pool area featuring a shipwreck-themed water slide, water currents, sandy bottom, a small kids’ water slide and a quiet pool. Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is a moderately-priced Walt Disney World resorts near Epcot and features 2,112 guest rooms, a large pool area and several small sandy beaches.

This Walt Disney World resort is designed with a Caribbean theme and offers various water sports at the Marina. What is so special about this place is that it has two story buildings clustered into five lakefront tropical island villages: Trinidad (separated into North and South), Aruba, Barbados, Martinique and Jamaica.

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is very beautiful and well maintained. The transportation throughout the resort and to the parks is easy, convenient, and on time. The property is bigger than most other Disney properties, so be prepared to walk.

Each of the Disney resorts has a different theme. Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is inspired by the beauty of Mexico and the American Southwest and features a five-story Mayan temple, Spanish-style haciendas and palm-shaded courtyards.

Although it has the largest convention center on Disney property, this resort is perfect for an extended family holiday. It is among the least expensive of Disney’s resort properties, yet still a 4 star hotel!

The resort has 1,915 rooms including 46 suites, one large pool, three quiet pools, a formal dinner restaurant, a cafeteria-style restaurant, fitness center, an arcade, a dance club and a gift shop from where you can buy unique souvenirs. So just how big is Walt Disney World?

Well I hope everyone had a great New Year’s eve without getting into too much trouble! I read something the other day that made me laugh, and then made me realize just how little a lot of people know about Walt Disney World. I was reading a personal blog online, and this girl was saying that her and her husband were going to go to Disney World.

Okay, great, nothing wrong with that. But then she went on to say that they wanted to get a Disney hotel. That way, she said, they would be right there at Disney and be able to walk to all the Disney parks! Oh my, I sure hope she sees this post, because if she really goes thinking that, she’s going to be in for a big surprise.

So, just how big is Walt Disney World? Well first lets make sure your talking about Walt Disney World, not Disneyland. Disneyland is the one in California, Walt Disney World is the one in Orlando, Florida. Disneyland is much smaller than Walt Disney World, MUCH smaller!
