Universal Studios new Cabana Bay Beach Resort hotel

Cabana Bay Beach hotel resort

Well it looks like Universal Studios will be adding another new hotel resort on their property soon. The Cabana Bay Beach Resort hotel is what it will be called, with 1,800 rooms including 900 family suites.

This will be the fourth hotel Universal Studios has on their Orlando property, all part of the Loews hotels and resorts line. Once built it will become the largest hotel at Universal.

Universal Studios has seen big growth since the opening of their new Harry Potter land. They are currently busy with several new rides and attractions that will make the parks even bigger.

With a retro vintage look, the prices at the new Cabana Bay Beach Resort hotel will be less than the other hotels they currently have. That’s not to say they will be cheap, just “value based” as theme park operators love to say!

So I’m assuming most rooms will fall between $80.00 to $140.00 or so. Nowhere near as cheap as the $30.00 per night hotels you can find on the tourist strips, but as cheap as theme park hotels go, including the ones at Disney.

If you stay here you will get early admission perks to the Universal theme parks, just like you now get if you stay at any of the other Universal hotels. But not front of the line ride passes, as you currently get now staying at the other Universal hotels.

Cabana Bay Beach Resort hotel is scheduled to open in 2014, the same time the new expansion of the Harry Potter land is slated to be done. (Yes it is being expanded and work is being done right now on it). :)
