Universal Studios Lockers, Islands of Adventure Lockers, Family size

Islands of Adventure storage lockers

I was walking around Universal Studios Islands of Adventure the other day when I decided to check out the all day locker area. Yes Islands of Adventure has an all day and family sized storage lockers area.

Surprised? It’s actually a bit hard to find if you don’t know where it is, so I decided to take some pictures of it and explain the sizes and prices of the all day storage lockers at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure.

Now, there are several rides throughout Islands of Adventure that also have storage lockers right in front of them. However they tend to be small and it cost more to use them all day than the all day lockers.

Universal Studios Macy’s Christmas parade youtube video and pictures

Hope everyone’s holidays are going well! A few days ago I went with some friends to watch the Universal Studios Macy’s Christmas parade! I took this youtube video of it above if you want to see it.

I also took some nice pictures of the colorful characters that were walking around before the parade, you can see them below. Universal has some very unique looking holiday characters that walk on stilts.

My favorite is the candy cane girls, yum yum! 😉 They had lots of others too, but I kept taking pictures of the candy cane girls for some reason. Anyway you can see a mix of them below.

Harry Potter Lego sets

Click here for the new Harry Potter Lego sets store!

Once again I’ve made a new store page inside my site here. This one is Harry Potter Lego sets and games! Kids just love playing with Lego sets, and for those Harry Potter fans there is a lot of sets to choose from.

In fact I was a bit surprised to see just how many different Lego sets you can find with a Harry Potter theme. Of course the most popular sets are the Lego Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle sets.

That is like the base model, as Hogwarts Castle is the main setting in almost all the Harry Potter movies. The next most popular set has to be the Lego Hogwarts Express train set.

It’s time for some more Harry Potter theme park news! This time I went to HoneyDukes, the Harry Potter candy shop. It’s not all that big, but they really cram it full of those Harry Potter sweets!

As you can see above I made a picture video of the inside of HoneyDukes candy shop at the Harry Potter theme park. I also have a regular picture gallery you can see below for bigger pictures.

HoneyDukes Harry Potter candy shop is located to your left in Hogsmeade village, close to the main entrance, not the back entrance that goes over a bridge.

Harry Potter merchandise shops at Harry Potter theme park

Harry Potter merchandise shops

Many Harry Potter fans have been asking me just what kinds of Harry Potter merchandise shops are in the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park at Universal Studios.

With now over 1,000 licensed new Harry Potter merchandise items to choose from, all exclusive to the Harry Potter theme park, there is a lot to find. You can only buy them here, nowhere else. All the other items you see in toy stores and so on are replicas, not officially licensed items.

There are basically five different shops inside the Harry Potter land where you can purchase Harry Potter merchandise. All but one are located in the Hogsmeade village. The other one is located inside the Hogswart’s castle. Here’s the list:

Universal Studios rock the universe music concert

This weekend is the annual Rock The Universe 2010 Christian rock concert event at Universal Studios! Yes, it’s the same weekend that Disney has it’s Night of Joy event at the Magic Kingdom.

So I guess you need to pick one or the other if your into Christian music. Well, let’s see who’s playing over at Universal Studios shall we? But first, let me tell you that Rock The Universe will be held on two stages inside the Universal Studios theme park, NOT CityWalk or Islands of Adventure.

You need to buy a Rock The Universe ticket, as normal theme park tickets do NOT include the music concert. It’s this weekend, Sept. 10 and 11. You can enter the park as early as 4:00 PM and the event last until 1:00 AM.

Latin Quarter nightclub at Universal Studios

If you’re looking for a sophisticated restaurant with a fun theme plus a great night club, then you must go and visit the Latin Quarter At City Walk in Universal Studios. Here you can dine on the best of South American, Central American, Mexican and Latin dishes.

Apart from the restaurant, Latin Quarter at Citywalk comprises a dance studio, nightclub, retail store and art gallery. All you have to do is to relax and enjoy the magic of Latin dancing, cuisine, culture, music and art at Latin Quarter.

The experience is like dining in an ancient Mayan courtyard. The decor is centered around a dance floor with a ceiling of stars and a backdrop of mountains. The food is awesome, plentiful and beautifully presented.

Labor Day weekend events and times at Disney, Universal Studios and Sea World

Labor day weekend events at Disney, Sea World and Universal Studios

With Labor Day weekend coming up, many want to know what’s going on at the theme parks here in Orlando. Specifically what Labor Day weekend events and activities are going on at Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World? What times will the theme parks be open?

Well, actually the theme parks don’t really do much different things for Labor Day weekend. For the most part they just might have a little more in the parades, a little better fireworks show, maybe some cookout type of food served on open grills.

You might even see a few Labor Day themed food carts or merchandise displays. But for the most part Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World will be like they have been all summer during Labor Day weekend.
